December, success in Ciechanowice

Bartosz Wilk was 3rd in the International Sheperd’s Instruments playing Competition!

During 5th and 6th of December in Ciechanowiec, took place the XXXV International Kazimierz Uszyński Sheperd’s Instruments playing Competition. Participants came from Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine and Slovakia and were competing in playing on multiple different instruments in several age groups.
The competition was judged by: M.Sc. Krzysztof Braun, Dr. Tomasz Czerwiński, M.Sc. Piotr Dorosz, Dr. Artur Gaweł, Assoc. Ewa Gruszczyńska-Ziółkowska.

Reresentative of “Szamotuły” bagpipe band Bartosz Wilk was 3rd in his group, in which 13 participants tried their best. Congratulations! Bagpipe band is working under Szamotuły Cultural Center since October 2012. The director of the band is Master Romuald Jędraszak.

Patronage of the competition: Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Voivod of Podlaska and Marshal of Podlasie province.
